Second Day Report

Day 2's main game was Battle At The Pig Farm ; a "Major Game" that would without any doubt change the fate of Negromundheim forever.

The family farm of the O'Donocul brothers is coveted by both the Neo-Soviets, who want to turn it into a sovkhoze, and the industrialist squat scum whose objective is to take hold of the farm and breed the pigs in battery cages. Fortunately for the O'Donocul, everyone in the village rushed to help, and their friends from the Southern Negromundheim Slaughterhouse Trade Union were already in the farm.

The 3 armies were deployed following the unique IDT-3 player deployment. Their goal: to take & hold the farm located in the middle of the table until the end of the game.

The 3 factions rushed towards the farm, and very soon the battle became the epic you can expect when such interests are at stake. Several acts of bravery were to notice:

  • Father Chanau and the Bedsheet On The Head Brotherhood heroically managed to destroy the dreaded Neo-Soviet Ursa Battlesuit.
  • Another was when a bunch of squats defeated the ferocious combat pigs in hand to had.
  • Yet another was when the Soviet close combat squad stormed into the farm and methodically smashed the Redneck weirdoes into a bleeding pulp with their hammers & sickles.

After 5 turns of violence, bloodshed, and corpses piling up in the farm, every figure getting slaughtered when they got into it - or tried to do so - a lonely hero emerged victorious: Squat medic Dr. Jimini Painkiller made it into the farm in the middle of smoking dead bodies and saved the bearded gnomes' day.

The next game was a minor historical battle of Evil vs Evil.

The Sons of the Swastika, led by Aryan martial artist extraordinaire Guntherella Mataillung fought off the Neo-Sov rad troopers wave after wave, and eventually smashed their skulls open with their steel truncheons in a frenetical counter-attack.

At the end of the day, the scores were the following:

  • NBFGH, 53.5 pts
  • ChronoHal, 42pts
  • Kommander Hého, 40.5pts

At this stage of the competition, nothing was done yet.

Day 3 would be decisive...
